| Specifications: "The competition board", is manufactured in 16 ft. lengths only. It's constructed of a basic ribbed one piece extrusion, heat treated for a minimum yield strength of 50,000 psi of aluminum alloy. It has a torsion box extrusion, anchor end cap extrusion, and tip end cap extrusion riveted to the basic section. The board is etched, then coated. It is then coated in aqua colored thermal curing epoxy resin. The top surface is finished with three coats combined with a mixture of sand and white aluminum oxide to effect the non-skid surface. The anchor bolts are to be 5/8" diameter. The underside extrusion ribs in the fulcrum area will be protected with a specially formed vinyl channel attached to the board with epoxy adhesive. The Model "B" is different in that there is the addition of perforations. There are 200 perforations measuring approximately 1½ inches long and ¼ inch wide, extending 21 inches back from the tip end of the board. |

Meter Durafirm Stands |

| The One-Meter Durafirm Stands are available with single guard rails one side, single guard rails two sides, and double guard rails two sides. One-Meter Stands like the Three-Meter units have hinged board anchors, which allows easy tilting of the Board up to 180 degrees to clear the pool edge during other activities such as swimming meets and water polo matches. One-Meter structures are manufactured in four different heights to accommodate pools with deck-to-water level dimensions from 1" to 13". Deck to water level dimension of the pool must be indicated when ordering. |

Meter Durafirm Stands |

The Three Meter Durafirm Stands are manufactured of similar and identical components as the One Meter Stands. Many structural members are interchangeable, One-Meter to Three-Meter, such as guard rail supports, complete fulcrum units and anchor hinge assemblies. All structural members are individually coated with a coat of baked epoxy. All fasteners are corrosion resistant aircraft aluminum alloy with epoxy coating, except the deck hold down bolts which are silicone bronze. The most important single feature of the Three Meter Durafirm is the simple 8 point deck anchorage, which requires no special footings and can be installed on an existing deck, if concrete is of good quality and no less than 4½" thick.
The guard rails are fabricated of stainless steel tubing and are secured to the structure with quick assembly stainless steel strap clamps. All fulcrum bearings are nylon and are adjustable for wear. There are lubrication devices mounted on the roller and slide bearings. The hinge and rear suppassembly is adjustable vertically in seven one inch increments which makes possible the simple leveling of the Board on different deck slopes.
The Three Meter Stand is available in one model: Double Guard Rails on both sides. It is manufactured in three different heights to accommodate deck level to water level dimensions of 1" to 13". |
